Kate Kamphausen
Kate is a pink-haired Christian Southern woman living and dressing in intentional Christian community, which things have led her to consider such fashion issues as clerical wear, genderqueer fashion, hippie colors, crusty-punk ingenuity, and manskirts. Kate costumes plays and movies and weddings and bands and people. She has been making clothes since the age of eight, when she constructed dresses from kleenex and scotch tape for her tin-foil dolls. Kate can't collect anything (she has tried!) unless it relates to fashion (vintage sewing books, chandeliers, yes they do relate to fashion), because she likes living, breathing people more than anything. Except the fashion they wear.
