Food as Sacrament
This workshop will explore what it means that our food gives its life so that we may live--that our staying alive depends on the sacrifice of other lives. What do Jesus' words "take, eat, this is my body" imply when we ponder that everything we eat has given its life for us? As Wendell Berry asks, are we worthy of our food? We will also explore what it means to "taste and see that the Lord is good."
