Russet House Farm
A tour of Russet House Farm that will focus on strategies and techniques for sustainable agriculture that are currently in practice. Highlights will include pastured poultry, management intensive grazing, composting, soil health and management, as well as strategies for sustainable forestry in a working woodlot. All of these topics will be considered in the context of understanding a farm as a whole ecosystem engaged in a dynamic relationship with the wildlands ecosystems that suround it.
