Sarah Bakker

As someone who grew up in the suburbs of Texas, Sarah is kind of shocked to be up to her rubber boots in manure. She’s even more shocked at how much she loves it. In the winter of 2008, she, along with her husband, Henry, started Field Sparrow Farms selling naturally-raised Angus beef. In her spare time (ha, ha), she is on the Board of the Lindsay and District Horticultural Society. Theoretically a stay-at-home mom to Moses, she finds herself rarely at home between chores, library visits, farmer’s markets, and gardening at Russet House Farm.
