Marianne Karsh

Marianne Karsh, B.Sc.F., M.Sc.F., Arborvitae’s Director and member of the Russet House Farm community, has a deep passion for re-connecting people with the earth through her knowledge of theology and ecology. Marianne is a professional forester and researcher for Environment Canada, and has been leading nature and spirituality field trips, courses and seminars year round for over nine years. She is the co-author of “Trees, Forestry and the Responsiveness of Creation”, published in This Sacred Earth: Religion, Nature and the Environment, ed. by Roger, Gottlieb (1996). Marianne is currently the coordinator of The Ecology Project of the Ignatius Jesuit Centre of Guelph.
