Farming the Sun: An urbanite’s guide to harvesting the abundance of solar income

What you need to know, and the questions to ask if you’re considering generating power from the sun. Theoretical information will include the democratizing power of the sun (a.k.a. why solar energy is an essential step towards world peace), the politics of solar, environmental justice & clean technologies, and centralized versus distributed generation. Practical considerations will also be addressing, such as the anatomy of a system, solar access considerations, grid-tied versus off-grid, feed-in versus net meter, D.I.Y versus installer, cost considerations, and questions to ask when considering solar.
