Seeds: From the Bible to the Earth

The Bible begins with a drama of the soil and the giving of seed to humanity. The first part of this workshop will be a Bible study, exploring how in Genesis 1 seeds are entrusted to us for wise stewardship. The second part of this workshop will discuss the practicalities of seed for gardeners: finding local seed houses, evaluating seed quality, the politics of seeds, the importance of heirloom seeds, and tips for starting seeds successfully.
